Job Position
- Quantity Surveyor
Company Name – ORO24
Responsibilities:
- Review tender documents and analyze project scope and requirements.
- Respond to tender queries and clarifications.
- Prepares full project BOQ nominate potential subcontractors and suppliers.
- Evaluate subcontractors/suppliers quotations with respect to offered price, qualifications, scope of work and compliance to project requirement.
- Prepares vetting sheets and provide analysis of collected quotations and recommendation.
- Quantity take-off of tender drawings and design sketches as required Post Contract.
- Prepares Monthly Cost Report including cashflow and forecast to completion, commercial section of Monthly Progress Report to Client.
- Responsible for Change Management and ensure recovery of contractual entitlements, daily update of VO logs, captures all potential variations and claims, pricing of variations and agreement of variation cost with Cost Consultants.
- Responsible for ensuring timely payment application, certification and prompt payment as per the timelines in the contract.
- Responsible for proper planning and undertaking procurement of sub-contract works, includes negotiating prices and payment terms, preparation of subcontract/supply agreement.
- Subcontract management – recommends payments in accordance with progress of works, review of variation and claims, contra-charges, ensure insurances and bonds are valid, recommends final account.
